FAQ
Configure one on the Order page to see the full price — it depends on the finish and audio setup you pick. Ordering two or more units gets you a volume discount. Shipping is charged at cost and confirmed once we know where it’s going.
Yes, and we’d recommend it. Book a session at a partner location and lie in it yourself — it’s the fastest way to know whether it’s right for your guests. If there isn’t one near you, book a call and we’ll help you find the closest.
Driifloat is just under 9 ft long, about 4 ft wide, and sits 17 in off the floor. We recommend a room of at least 11 × 8 ft so there’s space to walk around it. Filled, it weighs about 1,500 lb — fine for a standard commercial floor. The Room requirements page has exact clearances and how to get it through corridors and doorways.
Less than you’d expect. It needs a regular power outlet and a one-time fill with water and the Epsom salt that ships with it — no drain, no water line, no wet room. Each unit is hand-built in Poland, and lead time is usually 4–6 weeks.
Wipe the membrane between guests, which takes under a minute. The water stays in the unit and is kept clean by a small filter and dosing system — your first year of filters and chemicals is included. After that, the main running cost is electricity to keep the water warm.
No. Guests book themselves through the booking system, and if they need anything mid-session, they press the button on the handle and your team gets a notification on their phone. Show first-timers how it works, then leave them to it.
Sessions run 30 minutes and turnaround is a quick wipe, so you can fit roughly one session for every 35 minutes you’re open. Real numbers depend on your hours and demand — the booking dashboard tracks utilization, so you’ll see quickly how busy it gets.
Two years on the shell, parts and upholstery, and one year on the lighting. The membrane is a wear part and isn’t covered, so every unit ships with a spare.
In many regions, yes — leasing spreads the cost into fixed monthly payments. Terms depend on your country and configuration, so tell us where you’re based and we’ll come back with options.
Yes. A thin membrane sits between you and the water, so you feel it hold you up without ever getting wet. When you’re done, you can stand up and walk straight back into your day.
Whatever you came in. Just take off your shoes and empty your pockets of keys or anything sharp before you lie down.
No. There’s no lid — the pod is open, so you can sit up or step out whenever you like. The lights dim slowly once you’ve settled in. If closed spaces make you uneasy, this is a much gentler place to start.
It’s kept at skin temperature, so after a few minutes you stop noticing it at all. If you’d prefer it warmer or cooler, the temperature can be adjusted.
Plenty of people do, and that’s fine. The session ends on its own after 30 minutes.
Press the button on the handle. It sends an alert straight to the staff on duty, so someone can come to you without disturbing anyone else.
It depends on where you book. Some locations offer headphones, some have speakers built into the pod that you feel as much as hear, and some keep it completely quiet. If you have a preference, ask when you book.
You never touch the water, so there’s no shared bath involved. The surface you lie on is wiped down between every guest.
Floating is gentle, but we can’t give medical advice. If you’re pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, or managing a health condition, check with your doctor first and let the venue know before your session.
